Dear NovaNET Courseware Customer,

Over the summer months we made several enhancements to NovaNET^® Courseware (NNCW).  On the platform, the new Student Management capabilities were made available.  To learn more about the new platform features please go to the My Training Connection website and visit the “What’s New with NovaNET Courseware” on-demand tutorial (login required). 

In addition to the platform enhancements we updated several of our courses and made new ones available.  Details of those changes can be found in the Release Notes documents located in the Download Center on this site.  For your convenience a summary of the changes is listed below:

• The following courses were re-published, or re-released, with minor fixes.  The fixes were reported by customers and found internally by Pearson Quality Assurance teams.  All of the republished courses have been updated from version 2.6 to 2.7.
  • English I- IV
  • Health
  • Algebra 1 and 2
  • Geometry
  • Pre-Algebra
  • Integrated Math 1-3
  • BASI Assessment and BASI Remediation Mathematics
• Three new elective courses were added to the catalog and are available for use.  The courses are Business Communication 1.0, Introduction to Business 1.0 and Public Speaking 1.0. 
• Practice tests for GED and ACT were added.  These tests simulate the types of questions on the actual tests in order to better prepare students for these important exams.
• There were several specific state test preparation courses that were released.  The states include Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee.  Please note, you will only see the course for the state in which you reside.
• NovaNET^® Bridge, our brand new middle school curriculum, was released for the first time in June and July.  It is included at no additional charge for NovaNET Courseware customers. More information on Bridge is available on this site in the Download Center.

We anticipate additional Bridge content as well as several new state test preparation courses will be released in the latter half of 2011.  An announcement will be sent out at the time they are complete.
